Managing Leave¶
CHAOTICA includes a leave management system to help track team availability and ensure proper resource planning. This guide covers requesting, approving, and managing leave requests.
Internal Use Only
The leave tracking system is for internal convenience only and is not a replacement for corporate HR functions. Always follow your organization's official HR policies and procedures.
Leave Types¶
Standard Leave Types¶
Annual Leave - Vacation time and planned time off - Requires advance notice (configurable, default 14 days) - Subject to approval by manager - Counts against annual leave balance
Sick Leave - Unplanned absence due to illness - Can be requested retrospectively - Usually requires minimal approval process - May require medical documentation for extended periods
Personal Leave - Personal time off for family or personal matters - Planned absence for personal reasons - Requires manager approval - May count against leave balance
Training Leave - Time off for professional development - Conference attendance and training courses - Often encouraged and approved readily - May be funded by organization
Maternity/Paternity Leave - Extended leave for new parents - Longer duration (weeks/months) - Requires advance planning - Follows legal and company policies
